Default Gold DA9's Hatch Dericing Project/build thread

I picked this in October and its been a slow ride to get where it is now. Especially with my hours now being cut dramatically at work. So this is going to take longer than expected.

Details of my Hatch:
Exterior:
94 CX hatch was Milano Red and the PO had it painted yellow
Wings West Like Body Kit
JSP Carbon Fiber Hood
Vision Caron Fiber Mirrors
Duckbill Wing
Mid-Wing
Si Wheels

Interior:
Almost all Black interior
GSR front and rear leather seats
Power Window and Lock Conversion
Skunk2 Shift ****

Suspension:
Koni Yellows w/ Skunk2 Coil sleeves
Skunk2 Front Camber Kit
Skunk2 Rear Lower Control Arm

Drivetrain:
JDM GSR Swap
DC Header
JRSC currently at 6psi
Custom Exhaust w/ Skunk2 Muffler

Now for a ton of pics. The car will be a long work in progress.

Exterior:

A snow pic from the first storm.

Interior

Engine Bay:

And this is how I bought the car.

During the first snow storm I had some problems getting into my driveway and slid backwards out of it straight. As the end result this happened.

So one morning after coming home from work, I started to remove the body kit and install all oem bumpers and fenders. Shitty cell phone pics..

with the front end done.

And with the sideskirts off and oem rear bumper on.

Just got sideskirts on the car last week, but havent taken any pics. They are modded EK Sedan skirts.

oh yeah, here is the surprise I found while removing the sideskirts.

There were 3in screws holding them on the rear quarter...

Plans right now are to remove the JRSC for a Skunk2 IM that im getting from my tuner. Also going to be doing head gasket, EM gasket, IM gasket, cam seal, ARP head studs. Also i need to find out what is leaking oil by my crank. Im not sure if its the crank seal or the oil pump leaking...

im probably going to install the injectors, fuel rail, and fpr that I got from you after i swap on the intake manifold. Also decided that im not going to use the seats I bought from you.

So now I got those seats and eg6 rear seats that im not using.

It is most likely the seal. It is pretty easy to fix. The most time consuming part is removing the covers.

thanks, i like it more with out it. The mid wing im still undecided on. But im leaning towards removing it, if i find an awesome deal on a CF hatch.

To sell it and possibly restore the body before any more go fast parts. About to replace most of the gaskets, seals and belts.

Pat at JA Performance? I havent seen him in a while. He saw the car a couple weeks after i got it and it still had the body kit on it. Will be more decent once the body work is taken care of. Sucks but the front end was hit before and repaired cheaply and quickly. Didnt realize it until i put the oem parts fenders and front bumper. If i had the time and space I would swap everything over to a different shell.
