Does anyone know what is the hp ablity or numbers of a B17A1 crank into and ls/vtec build with 12.0:1 - 13.0:1 C/R. I have a B18B1 block, B17A1 crank, B18C1 (P72-1) head, and also I want to put Toda 82.00mm CTR stlye pistons into a build setup up. I know and understand that it will not have that powerfull stroke of a ls, but this is what I was looking for to be between a B16B and B18B! The crank is going to get micro-polished, balanced, and knife edged and put in w/ an Erl 5 cap girdle. The head which will most likely be put on a different block later, will get a full race port & polished and manifolds to match job w/ a full upgraded vavle train for 11,000 rpm ability (which I no I won't even come close to). Any other 1.7 builds out there with really good numbers!

 

hey i have the same b18b1 motor and a p72-1 head now for some reason it wont mount on the block it seems the dowels pins dont match up with the block . can u please help me out? thanks
