my 94 civic four door. i went to go to work last night and the connection on my battery i think may have shorted something. not really sure, but the connection is kinda loose. either way, when my car starts it shut off right away what could be the problem? any insight please.

 

uhhh tighten everything that is loose first.
do you have any CELs? did you suck up any water?

 

probably ignition switch. my del sol did the same thing, pull the plasic cover off the column and there is three 6 or 7 mm bolts pull them out and the ignition swich pops right off. no need to change the tumbler just the switch itself.
