Okay since i bought my car, i can go no more then 120 miles before my car acts stupid. After filling up full tank at the gas station, 120 miles later while driving then coming to a complete stop, the car dies. but it doesnt do it when im at full tank or before 120 miles. it only dies when coming to a stop. As long as i drive and dont stop the car wont try to cut off. has anyone ever experienced this before, i travel far and traffic lights are a pain. can anyone help me out? thanks

 

Are we talking exactly 120 miles? Checked your fuel filter? Tried checking gas mileage?

 

Fuel tank vent clogged maybe? Or emission purge valve clogged, something like that. Try opening the fuel cap at, say, 100 miles and for one listen for vacuum inside the tank, and two see if you can drive until 220 miles until it dies...
