Default when replacing a clutch what else do i replace

Im about to put a ACT stage 2 clutch in, i didnt buy it i traded some headers i didnt need for it, but i was wondering if i need to change the flywheel also and if i need to change anything else when i put that clutch in. im not running anything special its a d15b7 block with a z6 head. thanks guys

I'd get the flywheel resurfaced and the pressure plate resurfaced for a smoother engagement. Although its not a "you have to do it" type thing. And if it didnt come with a throwout bearing or pilot bearing, I'd replace them too. When I did my clutch I replaced everything since it came with the kit, but I didnt resurface my flywheel. Only thing it does it chatter a bit before lock up.

If I were you, id get a lightened flywheel for that mini me. No sense in a stage 2 clutch with a 22lb flywheel, ya know?

22lb?

when i replaced my OEM for an ACT Stage2, I weighed my B16 (P30) flywheel, it was 17.5lb...

i would get a new flywheel personally
otherwise its pretty important to resurface the flywheel if you want the clutch to work like its supposed to
