I have a ef8 sir and the lower ball joint is starting to have some play. I do not want to press it out if i don't have to. I have a complete set of front spindles for a 90 integra. Can I just swap the stock b16 spindle for the integra one and not mess up my alignment?

So are the b16 spindles and DA spindles the same, i guess is what i'm asking.

 

what is the casting number on them? i'm guessing they are different. you will probably want to get an alignment anyway

 

I will get an alingment done i just want to be able to drive until I can get my car in then lined up. I don't want the camber or toe to be way out that i can't drive it.

 

the balljoint isnt really that hard to get out....ive done it quite a few times. theres a snap ring to remove the a few good whacks itll pop out. a torch with some heat works well. use a good size socket to install the new one.

 

That's probably what I'll do. Just the DA spindles I have are all cleaned and painted from my old civic, they just look better.

 

are the spindles complete?? brakes and all?

 

Yeah they are complete but I already have the bigger brakes factory on my sir so I would have just used the spindle anyway.
