Default Headlights automatic?

Are the headlights on an 05 Accord Coupe automatic or do you have to turn them on and off?

you will have to manually turn them off unless you have the auto feature on the light selector ****

Honda doesn't make cars that have the headlights turn on automatically. On any model, atleast to my knowledge

Is there a reason for that?

That is not correct. I have an 08 Accord EX-L V6 and it does have automatic lights.

I have a 06 accord. I leave my headlights on when I get gas. I never leave the car running and always take my key with me when I leave the car. They will turn off after 30 secounds to 1 minute iirc.

The best way to test weather or not your car has it is to leave your headlights on. take your key out of the ignition, get out and lock the car and then wait a minute or so, they should go out by themselves. I could be wrong here, but I think that 05+ accords started having that feature.

Yea your correct, my lights shut off after 30 seconds. So does that mean you leave your lights on during the day too?

The headlights are auto off, but not auto on. They will go off, if you leave them on, but they will still be on, when you turn the key the next day, unless you turn them off. I tried using the auto off a couple of times, then I noticed my lights flashing by themselves, later that night. I just turn them off now, no biggie.
