2003 accord coupe having problems with the positive battery terminal getting corrosion and build up on it any ideas what it could be? Tried putting vasaline on it and the coated circle things but it still does it what could be causing this. Thanks for the help.

 

I would be interested in some ideas. My mom's 07 accord has this same problem. It ate through the positive cable once and she took it to Honda to have it replaced. It happened again just last week after only 5000 miles or so of replacing it. I don't know if Honda cheaped out on the wires or what...

 

I think your battery is leaking at the post. Are these original batteries? There is a warranty on it.
