Well Im at crossroads. Like the title says I got a K24a1 longblock and had plans to build to a K24/20 hybrid which I would still love to do but part of me feels as if I need to do a B series build first (since this will be my first motor build). To me I cant really consider myself a "honda guy" until I build a B. So I decided to post this to see if anyone had any interest in a trade? It has about 60k on it I was told and is out of a CRV. I still need to get the intake mani from the guy I got the K from. Ive only had this thing for a week but my heart is just with a B right now. lol you want to go from a 2.4 to a 1.6, I would recommend just building a B, people tend not to realize how much a k swap actually costs.

 

Yeah I just want a B and was planning on building one in the first place but I got distracted with the K. And yeah they do get a tad expensive, but with me only making $150 paychecks its just not realistic to want to build one.

 

Ya man I hear you, if I were you I would just build a nice B series it will save you some money and make it much easier for you to finish up the swap.

 

yeah plus there is endless amounts of info about B-series swaps, plus you can never go wrong with one. come on people nobody is interested in upgrading to a K?
