NEED SPRING RATES
and the 800 dollar omni drags actually were?
the brands he mentioned i dont believe can handle those rates either especially not in the price range they are in...could be wrong but i really doubt it.

I'm not saying that they weren't for the omnis either. I'm just stating a fact. OP, ask around in the drag racing section to see what people like to use. Be prepared to shell out some cash for good stuff man
I would contact Progress before buying any of those, I have read some where that their shocks can handle up to 1000lbs springs.

According to Google, 1000 lb/in springs are approx. 17.9 kg/mm.
Also- In my opinion, I wouldn't feel comfortable running a shock with such a deviated spring rate. I would suggest getting something that's valved specifically for that rate.
Ksport has the RR's which are valved to your specs. Not sure if Progress has something similar.

no clue what the construction or valving is like but i doubt it's any worse than omni, form function etc...

yeah but like was said before. going to be dishing out decent money for them. like koni ssp3s are rated for 1000lbs but you are spending 1200 in just dampers. the route he is going i dont think he is looking to spend that.
