2000 civic with s300 tuned!. Is o2 sensor even used?

Default 2000 civic with s300 tuned!. Is o2 sensor even used?

Car specs below

My car has 134,000 miles
Gsr rebuilt with stock head

Car is tuned on s300 and im using the stock civic ex o2 sensor wich has many miles and
it probably needs replaced

My car recently started shaking a little unler light acceration after 2nd gear and
was wondering if the s300 hondata even use the o2 sensor because i bought a new one
from autozone

It all depends if you tuner left the car in closed loop or not.

Just ask your tuner if he has it setup to run an O2 sensor or not.

I just went to the tuners shop and the guy "Warren" from Midnight tuned my car. He doesnt work there anymore but he did work/own it for years. So they said it ws in open loop and that some how I Got it in OpenLoop......now closedloop.

So i checked the box closed loop... Is that ok to do????

They couldnt tell if the O2 was being used but i replaced it anyway

Also just replaced O2 sensor
and
NGK
R spark plugs heat range 7
gap .030

If you have a working O2 sensor and I assume you do since you just replaced it, then it would be ok to keep the car in closed loop.
