Integra steering rack in EK...

I have read most other threads describing this upgrade, but i get confused because no one has solid answers.
My question is, will an integra rack bolt up to the ek front cross-member?
I keep hearing the dc2 and ek front cross-members are the same, only to later hear that they are different...wtf?
The latest Honda Tuning had an article that delved into the dc2 rack swapped into both eg's, and ek's, going so far as mentioning that 96-00 Civics swaps "...come with this [a similar dc2 front cross-member???]." If someone has the article please post the complete and accurate statement.
So please, lets clarify this here, now. If someone has pics, part numbers, etc for comparison purposes please post.
I want to explorer the most cost effective, less technically daunting route, which would be to retain my front cross-member, and just bolt the dang integra rack to it. Whether thats possible, we will soon find out...
Thanks Honda-Tech

I have done this install: yes
It will not bolt up. The integra rack will bolt in with no modifications in a 1992-1995 civic, but not a 1996-2000 civic. Why do you need to use an integra rack?

integra has shorter steering ratio. i'm also interested in figuring this out.

yes a dc integra rack fits a 1992-1995 front cross NOT in a 1996-2000 and if you are trying to put an integra rack into an EK it isnt going to work anyways an EK is right hand drive ! you may want to try a lx or ex power steering rack, hoses return lines cooler resevoir and pump from like yr model EJ civic unless you want to purchase all that and a dc front cross and lower control arms if you really must have power steering check hasports website i am not 100% but i think they have front crossmembers or kits to make p/s easier and slightly cheaper for some dx and cx models
