oh trust me I know.

But sometimes these parts are worth the extra cash , like I will allways use an OEM oil pump ALLWAYS its a few extra but whatever , same for A/C compressor and drivetrain components , but for plastics......

^I know what you're saying.... bro, you should see how much a headliner costs. JUST THE HEADLINER. No visors, screws, nuffin.... they're like 150-200. Or at least last time I checked.

The worst part, I just toss my headliners around. I've been through 4 because of custom ones. Now they're all in the trash.

respraying wont give you the same oem texture, it'll look pretty bad. i recommend spending the money and getting OEM ones, unless you can go to a junk yard and find some in good shape. sometimes you see them on ebay also!

exactly , Around here we dont have too many good junkyards I am in Missouri right now , there is one place but its 20 miles away and its snowing like hell and I am sure every car they have is just burried! I was hoping some other company made similar pieces and someone might know of an aftermarket alternative but

You should really just respray it.
The OEM ones WILL last a while, but it'll end up looking the way it currently does [chipped, etc.]
If you paint them and do a good job, you won't have any issues really.

Dropping $100+ on pieces of plastic for it's TEXTURE sounds kinda whack.

yeah I hear you , my touch up guy may have a suggestion for paint. Now that I think about it , theres nothing else on there with the same texture so really OEM or not its kind of subjective. You make a VERY valid point about them Chipping again because I doubt they have changed , you think they would change them but really I doubt it , I work for GM but we are VERY good friends with the honda dealer , maybe I can sweet talk my way into some free ones.

now that I think about it I might even just remove the "texture coat" and polish them I wonder how that would look , if I do I will post pics soon.

actually Either way I will do a write up because other people probably just go through trial and error.
