I've posted a few threads a while back about this, my car will crank up and run for a few minutes then it'll shut off... I parked my car on a hill with little fuel in the gas tank and I thought I picked up some debryI took my car to a friends shop he hooked it to the OBD machine and it keeps comming back to the distributor, We've replaced it twice.. I've changed the main relay and checked all the grounds.. It's been like this for a few months now & I'm really getting aggravated.. could it be the ignitor unit?

Have you checked the fuel filter, pump, injectors?

 

I changed the fuel filter, and when I did the fuel was brown and dirty..like I said it will crank up run for a minute or so and shut off. but i dont understand why the obd would keep comming back as distributor problem..

 

Try a fuel pressure test,keep gauge on while you run the car and see what happens,does pressure drop before it dies?
When you changed the dizzy did you use the igniter from the old dizzy?
