Yep. Thank you Cal State Fullerton for having the police/patrolling force of a K-Mart parking lot.

Youre not out of the game. Give it a few days and you'll want to get another Honda and this time security will be a much bigger priority.. Kill switch, clutch pedal lock, alarm system, It is posible to not get a Honda stolen but it's not easy

my last civic was jacked from a CSU, who coincidentally prides themselves on "safety and security." heh...

Put a kill switch on your next car.

Thieves don't carry VOMs and wiring diagrams.

They are nice cars. test drive one first though. also, look at other options for the same price. you'll be surprised how inexpensive used non-honda's are going for these days.

Most likely true, but do more than your normal fuel kill switch, thieves anticipate this with Honda's and its easy to get around, do a fuel kill but also do some other kills as well.

A stealth alarm install and a good backup battery with appropriate sensors will help a lot to. Try and be as careful as possible of where you park to slim down the chances as much as possible of a thief being able to get your car with a flatbed.

Taking the ECU out might would have stopped them that day, but there's been lots of people that have kept there ECUs with them and still had there car stolen and driven away. If he seen your ECU was gone thus preventing the car from starting, he can return the next day with one of his own. I think there's a mod you can do to re-pin your ECU that would be worth looking into, I need to look into it myself. Sorry to hear your car got stolen, I know how you feel. Mine was stolen and stripped in 2005. I rebuilt her but am more paranoid than someone high on drugs about thiefs.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I am scared as **** for my Sol once I move out to an apartment considering it has been garaged since I own it. I will be starting some research on security like fuel kill switches, ecu re-pin?, whatever I can do to prevent theft.

Good luck and I know you won't be out of the game, lol.

i've pretty much lost all hope. i dont have any pics as of right now, but it is red with black rota slips...church automotive stickers, bride seats, carbon fiber wing, dented up hood, faded roof, and a radio antenna that is placed in the middle towards the back, like a dorsal fin. or like the ones on the bmw.

thats pretty much it. im already looking into new cars...

Im getting ready to move to cali, with all the stolen car threads i read i think im going to sleep by a window with a loaded gun.. The best part is everyone (esp parents/old adults) keep on saying 'who would want to steal your piece of ****!?' They have no idea...
