Default Viper 5901 Antenna with LED

-control Center combines the Status LED and Valet Switch with the 2-way Antenna, making the switch easy to locate, and eliminating drilling of any holes in the dash.

I find this a dumb combination; why would the DEI company put a bright attractive LED built-in with the antenna? I would assume the bright LED would give away the antenna's location for the thieves to yank it out in a matter of seconds. The question that comes to my mind is: with the antenna pulled out, would your alarm still be able to communicate with the pager?

It will not, however lets hope the alarm is triggered before the crook gets a chance to rip the ant. out. 94
