i got a slow oil leak coming out of the bottom of the timing belt plastics im thinking oil pump seal? ihave to crack it open to do the timing belt and water pump. so im gona buy the seal is there anything else that could leak oil around that area? oh ya its a b20b.

i got this same problem and im wondering about this too. Im trying to get all the info on this also since im doing all the gaskets on the head, installing new head bolts, and all belts.

 

That's probably your main cause for the leak. It could also be the cam seals too. Since you're taking apart that whole side, it's worth inspecting. Other than that, remember to use Hondabond where indicated in the service manual when installing your oil pump.

 

i took off the upper timing belt cover and didnt see anything leaking down.

 

i found out that its the oil pump/crank seal.
