are 18 inch rims too big for a 5th gen lude?

They'll work with 35 profile tires, as far as looks, that's up to your personal taste.

I think 18's would look good. I have 17's right now and one size up would still look fine. As far as size, your outer tire diameter always stay the same (relatively), so "size" shouldn't be an issue in terms of fitment. However, be aware of the offset of the rims you're looking at, that could make a difference.

hahaa i have the biggest friggin lip for it so it does worry me. i have a greddy trust front lip str8 from japan. iidk how low i shud go wen i complete the set up.

when i first had the car it was sitting on 18 and it didnt look bad. btw are u vietnamese? cuz thats friggin kool. i know a couple words cuz my ex is vietnamese.

^^^ hahaa foreals. i have rsx type-s rims on it now and those are 17's. im still debating whether i shoud buy the WORK EMOTIONS....it wud b a good deal. but im not sure about size. i orginally wanted some te37 time attack or seibon edition.

my 5th gen has 18's.. no problems and i think the size is perfect for a slammed lude.

PS. i know my front lip needs paint. i have bigger projects on other cars to worry about right now =P
