OMG @ headlight harness
Alright, so I just pulled my headlight harness of my car [both passenger's and driver's side].
The harness was tucked, but POORLY. Electrical tape everywhere. I was wondering what this plug led to... is this to the radiator fan? Because that's the only thing I was wondering it could be to. But, IDK.

And a bonus question, what do these wires go to? I found it on the passenger harness. High beam? I have no clue...

One last thing, how does the low beam bulb wire up? From the grounded relay? Or straight through w/o help from the ground relay?
I wish someone would just give me a diagram of the wires. It'd make this hella easier. Haha.

Thanks for the info so far.
I found out that the plug is for the AC.
But, what I need to know now is if the low beam bulb is supposed to hook up to the relay shown or if it is possible to just go straight into the car...

The reason why it is as it is now is because I just decided to take a whack at it. Any thoughts? Thanks for the info so far again.

Hm. That's weird. Cause there's a ground relay on both sides.... the question is for what? Connected to what?
God, this harness is horrible. Haha,
Hey, thanks for looking out.

it's not a relay ... it's a ground block. it's grounded! ie., bolted to car frame.
ps., bad etiquette to have two threads going on same topic. tsk tsk
pps., you haven't said what year your vehicle is

I was going to say i did not se any relay in the diagrams that i saw. The lights are grounded on each side the drivers side should be the turn signals and the headlights with the windshield washer motor and the fan motor (AC). on the passenger side would be that sides Signals, Headlight High and low beam (they are on the same ground as is the driver s side) and the rad fan with the ABS if you have. thats how i remember them to be on my car (97 dx)

Then those diagrams won't help much as they are for a 96+ Civic... pretty different though conceptually similar.
My best advice for you is to study and UNDERSTAND the wiring diagrams yourself before continuing. Really, the questions you're asking underscore a lack of basic knowledge ... but that's OK, we have to start somewhere! You'll see what I mean when you start reading and understanding ... you'll probably have the odd "slap yourself on the head" moments ... as in, "how could I have been such a _____?"
Download the service manuals. Familiarize yourself with what you're looking at. Wiring diagrams look scary at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll see wiring is quite simple. (If you have any questions with this part, I will gladly help.) But, if you don't do this, I fear that your wiring will be NO BETTER than the wiring you pulled out ...
