Default anyone resurface header flange?

seems like my headers flange (one that connects to head) is somewhat warp or not flat, just need to resurface it so i can have a nice flat surface on it...
asked one machine shop and they said probably no machine shop will do it...... IDK but lmk

Check it with a metal straight edge (the same way you check for a warped block deck)

If the flange is warped you can re surface it with a large table style belt sander until it's flat.

I watched them do it to a header just this weekend on Horsepower TV.
