EG type r swap CEL for ELD?? HELP!
I have searched and found old threds without any help to my problem yet, I just did a 96spec ITR swap into my 94EG coupe and I'm running the obd1 harness from the b18c1 I just sold prior to doing the swap, I've used the alt, dizzy, off old engine and they are in new condition and another reason why I kept them in the first place... I had my fuel injectors re-wired with obd2 clips to be able to work with the setup and I'm running the p73 ECU with a obd1 to obd2a jumper harness until I have the money for a tune and s300 system, and so I knew the engine was running correctly after swap rather then use a basemap in an obd1 ECU. so The swap is in and running good the idel is stedy just below 1K rpm and no smoke or power loss of any sort as far s i can tell the lights work as I drove home from work and there was no dimming like other people with this problem have stated... I was thinking maybe it's the O2 sensor since it's the one that came with my swap... my car isn't inspected right now and needs to be cause it's inspection ran out in december, I wasn't driving it because of the winter salt and slush b/s.. I need to figure this out so I can get it on the road again before spring! I mean who does a ITR swap and then lets it sit for a couple months without driving on a nice dry day right? any and all help would be great!! thanks in advanced

I actualy didn't mess with edl seeing how I was running the p73 obd2 ECU I had assumed there was going to be a cel for O2 sensor (code 41) at least, so today I hooked up an obd1 ECU which is what I plan on using with my setup once I have the loot to get it tuned to see what kinda cel It would throw, turns out just a single code for the VPS (vtec pressure sensor, because the jdm engines don't have VPS I just left the connector ungrounded thinking it wouldn't see it. So I'm going to bridge the vtec solinoid wire with VPS tomorrow and re-jump the obd1 I've got to see if I'm in the clear if so, problem solved seeing how obd2 ECU setups are known to throw all sorts of codes on obd1 setups for many reasons, my car runs great with it throwing codes I'm going to just run that ecu untill I have money for tune unless it throws something else after fixing VPS. Thanks for your input, does this sound like a good plan to you?
