Default exhaust system

i have a 94 accord and was thinking about running 2.5 inch piping all the way back from headers but ive read u loose torque by doing this can anyone tell me if this is good idea or not

What do you have for an intake? Stock? CAI? Short ram? If it's still stock, I'd recommend that mod first. No expert by any means, but if you breathe in only a little bit of air, you're not going to breathe out much either, so larger exhaust may not amount to much at that point.

I'd go for it man. It's all worth it. I'm now running a 2.5" custom piping with an Apexi WS2 muffler and I loved it. I did felt a notice-able change in power too. Come on now, a 2.2L Honda big block needs to breathe out too. Lol.

honestly, 2" is fine for the stock
2.25 for a mildly built NA, aka intake, header, cams etc

2.5" is normally for the realm of turbos etc..

I think you would be better off with 2.25" Apexi WS2 unless you plan to turbo it

thats what happens with a f22b1 with just intake and greddy evo 2 exhaust.. i dont think i lost any torque when i snapped my rotor?? lol

Yeah, 2.25 in is great for the standard I/H/E. You can run a 2.5 w/o any real noticeable effects, but it is more common for turbos.

I've got the Apexi WS2
