Yes. the hood won't close properly (or at all) without it.
I've seen people modify the usdm t-bar to make the jdm hood close but it's just easier to get the jdm t-bar with the front end.

Are you talking about the JDM EF8 SiR front bumper support? The one pictured below? I too am curious if, this part is needed for installing the JDM front bumper to the US spec CRX.

You're set if you got the t-bar. The usdm radiator supports on each side should work on the jdm front. I have a 91 ef hatch with the jdm front, I'm pretty sure they're pretty much the same as the crx far the the t-bar and hood latch goes...

If you use the US t-bar. You will need to use washers on the t-bar. In order to make the JDM hood fit properly.

It looks like it lined up right? The hood go down on the latch but when I close it I can lift the hood up from the front and it seems like it kinda pop up but its still in there.

Also in order for me to open the hood from the inside (driver side) some one have to lift the hood from the front while im pulling the hood release.? Anyone have/had this problem?

Last time i checked. The t Bar was the front of the car. The T bracket is a bracket that holds the engine to the Rear Motor mount. T bracket Rear engine.

Read like 10x that the t bracket was something else. According to..

Or also called the L bracket. But, Then they would be talking about the engine not the REAR ENGINE BRACKET. or L bracket.
