Why? Why do folks like to absolutely destroy the handling of their cars by running such a dumb offset with such a dinky tire (that rides on its shoulders during a hard corner)? I know it started out life as a European VW thing, but I thought even they were over that.

It is your car, but a 205/50/15 on a 15x7 will handle worlds better than what you are planning.

You have to modify the rails from the 4dr to make it fit. Only thing i'm going to miss with my stock seats, are the heaters

And?
I'm not planning any race car here, so for me its not a problem.

Thank for sharing. I knew that car had rust somewhere. The rust don't see difficult to fix. I did try to fix right away. It didn't matter if the car's slow, as long it run and driveable. I did like to see the engine bay..

Other than the Euro-rice mods you are planning, it looks like a clean car.

And I still don't see the point in ruining its handling with that wheel/tire combo. EF hatches and 4-doors were extremely balanced chassis. It's too bad your mods are working against that.

Cant you let people what them selves want to do? I know the car is well balanced, and it could turn out to be a super track car or whatever. But i'm not going to do that, even how much you would love to do it.

I want to do my thing, you want to do your thing. Please respect that

I'm sure it wouldn't be that much if you sent just the heater pads/wiring, and the seat covers. hehe

Thats true, but i dont want to "destroy" a set of seats in this condition, i would rather sell them in one piece

you wouldn't be destroying them since they would be going with the seat covers, it's just cheaper to ship the covers alone rather than the whole seat you feel me?
