DD GSR Build....200whp?!?!
Hey whats up guys! I drive a 98 Integra GSR and my motor is slowly giving out. Most that has ever been done to it was i/h/e and skunk2 tuner1 cams. Untuned running on the stock p72 with a fields vtec controller(i know, i know) on shitty michelin pilots, i was able to run 14.5@94mph.
Currently the car is stock and just passed smog, so now its time to finally do a mild build up!!
Recently just got the head redone.
-New valve stem seals
-replaced 2 bent valves
-5 angle valve job
-supertech valvesprings, retainers
-GE headstuds(was planning to boost)
My previous plan was to build a b20 block(rs machine pistons) and swap my head and tranny from my gsr over to it, but on my budget, I cant afford it, so Im sticking with my GSR block.
Currently my plans are
-OEM JDM Integra Type R pistons (std. bore)
-Nippon rings
-OEM bearings
-micropolish the crank
-most likely JUN3 camshafts or skunk2 pro1s
-most likely skunk2 intake manifold w/ port-matched TB
-want the hytech reps, but not the ground clearance, so probably go with the RMF reps to an e-cutout
Car will be tuned on Crome and will MOST LIKELY go to PED in Stockton, CA
My questions are:
-Will I be able to make 200whp on this build?
-Should I get ARP Rod bolts installed? Necessary?
-Should I go with a different set of camshafts?
-Will the stock head casting make the power or should I do a mild port?
-Will the car pass smog STOCK with just the ITR pistons?
-Should I use OEM or ACL, King, etc. bearings?
I KNOW this build has been done before, but I just need some input as to where i can cut corners, and where i shouldnt. Recommendations/suggestions are always welcomed!
I just want to get my block done first then will add the goodies one piece at a time. Just to build the block itself, I plan to spend around $400-$500 including machine work. Is this an underesatimate or over or just about right?

1. Depends on tuner, dyno, etc.
2. You should be fine with stock ones. Are you rasing red line?
3. JUN 3's are good cams, lots of people like them
4. Porting will pick up a bit. depends on how you want to spend.
5. Dont know
6. People have opinions on all. Do what ever you want here.
