Default H&R SPORT SPRINGS w/ KONI SPORTS

before I buy, i had some questions reguarding the setup... I have looked online everywhere and read sooo much about this already but wanted some more opinions from those who HAVE/HAD experience with this setup...

I was looking to get some Koni Sports(yellows) and H&R springs, but not sure which spring.

I am most likely going to get the H&R Sport springs because i want a good drop but not too much to where id be bottoming out like ive heard with the H&R Race springs. (is this true?)

What I want to know is will the H&R sport springs lower a little bit more than theyre suppose to with KONI SPORTS??
I have heard they would give a slightly lower drop than the specs say...

*post pics of ur rides on sports or race springs with koni yellows plzz*

Had them, they sucked. Springs were way too soft for the amount they dropped.

I am fairly sure the H&R Race springs are linear rate, so I wouldn't go that route. It will feel like you are driving around on coil-overs. I haven't used the H&R sport springs so I can't comment on the rate.

You could always go with Eibach Sportlines which will drop the car about as much as H&R Sports, or with Eibach Pro-kits which will leave the car a little bit higher. In my opinion the spring rates of the Eibach springs are appropriate for the drop.

Had the h&r sports w/koni yellows for several years on a 98ex. Loved the setup. The car was a daily driver and I did several hpde events a year. The h&R sports is about as stiff as you want to go on a daily driven setup.

They did initially drop the car a big lower than I wanted, but I simply used the adjustment rings on the koni sports to raise the spring perch up about 1/4".

Here are some old pics of my car :

This pic is a left hand turn, so you can see the suspension somewhat loaded :
