my build.
well i have been searching around and finally decided going with somewhat of a simple b series build for the time being. the build consist of.
GSR BLOCK:
stock bore just honed the cylinders.
micro-polished crank
acl bearings
eagle rods
arp rod bolts
cp 11.5:1 pistons
block guard
B16a HEAD:
skunk2 valves
skunk2 valvetrain
port and polish
3 angle valve job
port matched skunk2 intake mani
port matched 68mm throttle body
rmf narrow style headers
skunk2 pro cam gears
cams have yet to decide. looking at skunk2 stage 3 if i decide to spray a lil 75 shot, or skunk2 pro 2 or jun cams if i stay all motor.
TRANSMISSION:
jdm type-r tranny
competition stage 3 clutch and stage 3 flywheel
will be tuned on s300.
what do you guys opinionate on my build. its almost done just waiting on the head and for me to decide on the cams. this will be mostly daily driven and will be seeing some track in weekends when work permits it. looking to hit 210-220whp NA. will be going in a 98 ek hatch (ctr clone)

Make sure you get the pistons before you hone your block so you can have the shop hone it to the right piston-wall clearance. Also i'm not sure what the compression is supposed to be with the pro 2's but thats always something to look into. Alot of people always think the biggest cam is the best but there's a ton of deciding factors. I'd probably just go with the Pro 1's on the 11.5:1 compression.

the bottom end is being assembled at the moment. they have everything since the day i took the block to them and they told me no need for boring out.as for the cams. yeah im pretty sure pro 2's may be a bit too big. im still looking into that as i stated in the original post.
