02 sensor wire question..

Default 02 sensor wire question..

well i just picked up an ef.. and after driving it for 5 min the cel pops up andit seems to waste more gas then a d15 should waste.. i looked at the o2 sensor wire and its ripped.. so its not connected.. but the only lose wire i see is a single wire.. and im confused because on my old eg it was a 4 wire o2 sensor.. im new to the ef game so im wondering is it a single wire o2 sensor??
feelin like a noob on this ef lolz

efs have a 1 wire o2 sensor

ef is obd0 (1 wire) eg is obd1 (4wire)

single wire And it's peach right?
anybody knows if it's better to run it to the top part of the header or the bottom by the cat?

stock it was near the top, so i'd go with that.

The school of thought is that if you have an unheated oxygen sensor (one-wire), you will want it closes to the exhaust ports. If you have a heated oxygen sensor (4+ wires), you can stick it wherever you want to sample the exhaust stream.

its yellow and its a 89 lx
it was the only wire i seen loose so i decided that was it lolz
