Default 98' Honda Accord V6, Dips below idle.

First, I'd like to thank everyone that helped in the war of the oil thread.

But this problem has been ongoing and more of an annoyance than anything serious. After warming up on idle, the steering wheel vibrates a good bit, not sure if the idle is too low or not. Also if I start the car or every now and then stop at a redlight the tach will dip below the regular idle point (causing the car to shake a bit) then come back up.

Checked the throttle body and that's clean. Not sure where to start troubleshooting.

P.s. Off topic, but thinking of getting a SRI, not sure if it's worth it or not..

I may look into that Idle Air Control Valve to see if that may have something to do with it..

How many miles does the car have? Have you done a tune up? What have u done?

I have a 4 cyl with 125K miles. It runs fantastic other than it is losing a bit of oil here and there? I have done a full tune up at 90K miles.

idle air control valve... maybe check for leaks in the vaccum lines... check your air filter, also, you might want to do a full tune up... Pcv valve, air/oil filters, spark plugs, uh check the connection on ur coil covers? like see if there is anything blocking the spark... also could be a faulty EGR? bad main relay... Also, but most likely not, Could be the ECU... FOr me, it was the ECU, i had to get it fixed at honda, lucky, it was under warranty......

but what i Think most common is , maybe you might need a tune up... Sparks, air filter, are common causes.... also you mite consider fuel system, fuel injector cleaners... i dont know why, but many people don't like to put that stuff in their gas tank... but for me, i still put it, and nothing bad happens... so up to you to decide, and more research..
