Suspension Idea/Help
Alright I have a 94 GSR, I'm on a smaller budget so I'm searching for options. Used doesn't bother too bad if they aren't too used lol. I daily my car, no autox or drag. I just drive it. I'm wanting 2 or 2.5 drop. Also looking for something thats NOT super stiff bc again I dd this.
I know that Koni's and GC's are golden and yes I would love to have the money for those but I don't right now.
Reason I can't spend my tax return on a nice set up is bc I'm using it to be debt free this year. So I'm wanting to pay cash... I looking for the best bang for my buck... $600 is my limit but I would like to spend under $500 bc I have more I'm wanting to get.
I just read a Godspeed review and for $400 he was very impressed...
Also in a couple years I might be ready to drop in a good set up if I even have this car (I sell lots of cars lol).
A good shock/spring set up is not out of the question either.
Again, I'm not looking for the best thing... just a good thing for the amount of money that it is.
Thanks for all of your help in advance

Those Godspeeds aren't gonna last very long and they are probably aren't valved very well, don't waste $400. I'd say go out and pick up new Koni shocks and springs you will be a little over 550ish or check out that Progress special for $550.
you can always just buy a set of koni sports, and they have adjustable perches which would allow you to lower your car a few inches with stock springs. so if you purchase a spring that isn't low enough for your liking you can always lower the perches.
plus they'll last forever, and if you ever get more money saved up you can complete the setup with some gc sleeves!

SP3's run 550 on their own, unless you know where they sell for less.. I would love to run them

Any set up that will keep you off the bump stops or keep the UCA's from smacking the shock tower at a 2-2.5" drop will be pretty darn stiff. Just so you know.
I went with skunk2 pro s full coilover for $675 shipped, which I found later to be alittle more expensive then some shops that have extra in stock. I would shop around and look for something more dependable for daily driving, but any pregressive coilover/spring and a good set of shock/struts will preform well, just remember to get a good set of wheels/tires will help with any good daily driver cars handling and drivablity
