upper stress bar
hey guys,
is it worth putting on the Si?
I got an '07 sedan and was thinking of adding one on to tie the shock towers.
I'm about to install a PR2 rear low tie bar. Even if there are no benefits I think it looks great.

x2 on the 'car being stiff enough' part. if looking to dress up the engine bay get the valve cover powdercoated or something, don't get a useless strut bar.

The strut bar is actually concealed under the front edge of the windshield and the plastic shroud. The only time you would be able to appreciate its aesthetics is before you install it.
Even with a red valve cover, you can only see a small portion of it.
Damn 8th gens with short hoods and long dashes.

i've seen strut bars that go out into the engine bay but it looks wierd; you can tell they made it that way just for the bling, not because it's better than going through the regular way. waste of $ either way as already mentioned.
