I was the original owner of this car. It has been dearly missed by me as well as my friends after putting it up for sale over 10 years ago.

After owning a plethora of cars since then, it still remains one of my favorite cars. I have many memories that I will cherish forever for the short time I owned it and just have to know that it is in good hands now.

Is the current owner on here? I'd like to hear from you!

 

I would guess you sold the car because you live in North Jersey and you saw the movie New Jersey Drive?

A lot of people don't know that this Type R was THE Type R in the New York International Auto Show in 1998. It was also featured in the very first 'Spin Out' section of Sport Compact Car in September 1999- drag racing my buddy's GSR for craps and giggles at ETown.

Thankfully I sold it before it ever got stolen(would've had a heart attack).

 

Interesting trivia! I'll add that to heR notes in my Registry.

I don't think so since only the 1997 ITR's had the rear wiper delete. The ITR in those pics is a little funky since it has '98 body work but no wiper.

Please excuse the fart can in the 2nd pic... that was actually cool 11 years ago... yeah right. The car had a 4 into 1 JDM ITR header with heatshield, Neuspeed Eibach springs, Spoon rear strut brace, a reflash from Eric Hsu(when he was first doing it!), and a Tanabe Racing Medallion catback.

I cannot believe I still remember this stuff.
