i just picked up a set of arp headstuds for my gsr motor ,i get home and i check the serial number (208-4306) and there not for a gsr, it comes up as headstuds for a b20 block with b16 head ....... so can they fit or should i take them back?


please tell me now before i open them and install them

 

They wont fit. The end that threads into the block is thicker on the LS/B20. The ones you have should be thick on one end and tapper right past the threads and become smaller. You should need ones without a tappered end.

somebody else sent me a pm that says they will fit....im confused

 

im going to call the shop i got them from first thing monday and see what there trying to pull

 

If you take your stock head bolts out you should see that the tappered end on the arps is thicker than the bolt.

 

Search seriously. Gsr headstuds = Lsv/B20v headstuds. the thickness has nothing to do with it its the length.

 

Im pretty sure they are the same but u should take the safe way and double check
