Mini me swap?
Hey so I'm looking at a '95 Civic Hatchback for sale, and I'm really thinking about buying it, but first I want to know wtf is up. This is what the seller posted:
"Here's the story, I bought the shell back in the summer and then swapped a mini me into it. After I put the engine in it ran well but when I would start it and run it, it wouldn't start up again until a few hours later. I'm not a mechanic and don't have time to work on it really, I need to get to school. The car doesn't knock, smoke blue or even black. The mini me was rebuilt before putting in along with a new starter and battery."
I'm not quite smart with Honda's (or any car) yet. My first was a '90 ef and the TPS died. I have a '93 shell, but I'm not sure if I can handle putting a complete swap in it.
Essentially I'd like to know why, and if it's easy to fix or if it's even worth the $1300?
