Default Immobilizer Q's on 99 accord

Was wondering if the immobilizer is going to be a problem when i swap the engine and ecu??

The Haynes manual says. The Pcm is a component of the immobilizer system. If a new PCM is installed in the vehicle , the immobilizer code must be programmed into the new computer by a dealership service dept before the car will start.

Is this true if i use the f20b ecu in my 99 accord

just thought about this today. I hope im just paranoid

If the f20b ecu has an immobilizer, then it will need to be programmed; if it doesn't, you're good to go. I got my ecu programmed for 30 bucks. Call around and find a dealership that will do it for the best price. I got prices ranging from 30 to 99.
