I have 2 friends with FA5's Both have AEM cold air intakes skunk2 exhaust and buddy club race headers. The both made similar power. 212whp. One of them sold the buddy club header for $$ issues and replaced with a DC race header an re dyno'd at 201 whp same dyno same set up minus the header. From what I hear skunk2 race header is right up the with the buddy club. I'd say stay away from the DC. Just my oinion based on what I have seen with my own 2 eyes.

Flashpro with I/H/E combo, and dyno tune is a good start.

Post #2 has got me thinking. If I gained 20whp with just my intake and DCRH..........apparently I'll gain an additional 10 by upgrading to a BCRH?

hmm.

How bout you spend about 3 grand of that 5 on your Si and use the other 2 grand and get yourself a beater daily driver so you can save the miles on your Si.

Even if the dyno is set to identical parameters to the original settings as performed on the dyno run of the bc, there are many other reasons for the hp discrepancies to consider. If you were testing a header, I'm not interested in the peak numbers, I want to know how the low and midrange hp/tq were affected.

Quick question: where in OC are you from N8?

since you want the S2 header why not get the Full-race 3" exhaust? get the most power u can .. of course your gonna need flashpro and a good tune.. and it wont be ungodly loud with the full race

Im Cypress. My buddy's shop Power Pros is in Santa Ana. The BC made more power across the board. Obviously different days, weather etc. will effect the outcome but in no way did the DC outperform the BC. If anyone wants to dyno their parts back to back let me know I will get you a fat deal on Dyno time.

dude you have 5K. Then boost the car if you dont wnat to them get a k24 block and do that if you dont wanna do the k24 block then get Stage 2 cams with valvetrain, get 12.5 comp pistons, RRC intake manifold or get your RBC pnp get a Spoon ventura throttle body or get a TSX throttle body and bore it out to like 70mm. Then get better motor mounts, flashpro, Full coilovers perferably Buddy clubs. That should be about a 12.6-12.9 car on slicks and it will look good dropped on coills. If you have extra money get rear tie bar and rear swaybar

there's a dyno sheet comparing the s2rh and the bcrh, and the s2h was putting out more power.

I ripped an FA5 with practically the same mods as me, from 2 3rd gear rolls just yesterday. Admittedly, he shifted awful, but I was already ahead before either of us shifted.

My mods: BCRH, Vibrant catback, P2R TBS, and DIY SRI.

His mods: S2RH, S2 Catback, Bored TB, IMG and AEM SRI.

I ripped him hard enough that he followed me off of my exit to find out what my mods were.

Read my original post. My comparison was BC vs DC. As I mentioned "Skunk2 was up there" but personally havent Dyno'd yet..so did want to comment on it. No where did I ever mention BC was better than the Skunk2 header.

So Max should assume that you assumed that the quote he quoted you on is not what he said that you said that he said that I said that I quoted you on that he said you said to quote me on to say what you said that he said to quote the quote that I quoted that he quoted you as quoting to refer to what I was referring to in the previous reference that he said I said you said?
