Okay, so i need some opinions on what could be the problem. I have a cable LS transmission on my B16a first gen.
Symptoms:
I have to shove it into first gear.
Every gear grinds (most of the time)
Very hard to shift into gear while driving. with the exception of 5th
EXTREMELY Hard to get into first gear while stopped or slowing down.
When downshifitng to slow down all gears grind. With the exception of 5th
And when all this started it likes to kinda jump if you will.. like lets say if i have my clutch pressed in.. but its still in gear. if i rev the engine just a bit the car seems to pull or jump.

What could be the problem or problems?
Please help guys.

 

possibly low or no mtf....

 

either your clutch pedal needs adjusted because its not fully disengaging the clutch or your diaphram springs in your clutch disc broke....your transmission is fine, your clutch is the culprit.

i have this exact same problem with my 93 integra. some times it works kinda ok but most of the time it bucks coming to a stop so i have to put it in neutral then stop and then shift it to 1st, every gear grinds unless i shift at very low rpm and it still takes awhile to fall in gear. i adj. the cable but it didint help, its full on tranny fluid and the clutch does not slip every.

 

typical B series clutch that has spit out a spring.

 

so if i buy a clutch kit and change it, this will most likey fix it??? or coild it be a transmission problem?
