Okay, so i need some opinions on what could be the problem. I have a cable LS transmission on my B16a first gen.
Symptoms:
I have to shove it into first gear.
Every gear grinds (most of the time)
Very hard to shift into gear while driving. with the exception of 5th
EXTREMELY Hard to get into first gear while stopped or slowing down.
When downshifitng to slow down all gears grind. With the exception of 5th
And when all this started it likes to kinda jump if you will.. like lets say if i have my clutch pressed in.. but its still in gear. if i rev the engine just a bit the car seems to pull or jump.
What could be the problem or problems?
Please help guys.

sounds like ur clutch cable is real loose, i had the same problem at the track when 2 stepping my car. my clutch wasn't engaging all the way... but that was on a hydro tranny....
Sounds like a clutch cable adjustment to me also. You will destroy that the syncros and maybe the berings in your trans if you keep driving like that. Adjust that cable before you drive it again, it only takes one minute.

Thanks man. I parked it as soon as i got home. I was planning on adjusting it. And it just started today. And the reason i think its the clutch cable.. i had a clutch pedal switch installed today.. So maybe they knocked it loose.

Do you have tranny fluid in? maybe check for leaks...if you do have tranny fluid...and ur tranny still grinds...thats prolly notta good sign
my tranny shows some of those symptons too...just a 3rd gear grind actually..sucks.

Check the cable for the clutch, you should be able to adjust right where the mount for the cable is on the tranny.
