I have a 1992 civic cx and i just bought a new e-brake handle and i am trying to remove the old one (original stock), i dont want to remove the whole lever, just the end..the handle...i have a manual about all the parts of the civic 92-95 but it says there is a screw to take off the e-brake handle when i can clearly see that there is not. If anyone knows how to do this task tell me about it cuz i have no clue what to do.

 

I think its the screw underneath the armrest thing. You'll need to take it apart to get to the screw (it tightens the e-brake)

all you have to do is yank on it really hard. it comes off with a little bit of coaxing.
