Hey guys and gals hows it goin! I'm coming over from the civic side, sure your glad to hear that. I had a 2001 Civic LX that got toatled on monday. Anyway the insurance company is givin me 5200 and im looking at this car http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/cto/1582101418.html I was just wondering if there are any specific problems with this model that I should look for.

 

seems like a good deal..its a manual trans so you should be good...the 98-02 accord auto transmissions were terrible...
its got right under 108k, so make sure that the t-belt and seals have been done, or as they will need to been done.

 

my brother in law has had one of these for few years now driven it out of the country and back, no problems just usual upkeep

 

Yeah I asked him if water pump and timing belt were done. Also about brakes tires and the such. He hasnt got back to me yet. And I know how the usual upkeep is. My 01 Civic had allmost 200k on it and still ran like the day we bought it.

Yeah I was the only one in the car and I was good...the other guy was in a F350 with a huge hitch...needless to say no damage to him. But that accord wont be working....its sold.
