Default lets talk about brakes..

So basically I just want to decide on my brakes setup, mainly my car is daily driver and I want to do track events (HPDE's) money and time permitting. So I was just gonna do the normal front/rear disc brakes, but I'm thinking I'd rather have something better up front stopping me, and I really dont want brake fade either.

so I was looking at the fastbrakes kits..If anyone can give me any pro's or con's on either one of these setups, or if they wont work on my car.

1. 11" SI brakes kit w/wilwood calipers
2. ITR spec brakes
3. reccomendations??

For the rear I think I will just use integra rear discs, as most of the stopping is done in the front.

If you want to judge the rest of my suspension this is what is planned/ordered..

-ITR rear 22mm sway bar w/beaks kit
-Benen tie bar (maybe)
-Front GSR 24MM sway bar
-Shitstreams w/Azeni's
-Koni Full Coilovers w/Teg rates (good deal )

so yah - brakes... WORD!

question - what calipers are included w/the Type-R spec brakes. I cant seem to find the info on the site...

I know the wilwood calipers have no dust boots so calipers will need to be rebuilt more than often...

I just got my fast brakes kit in the mail today. I ordered it last week from them which is pretty good time. I'm gonna get them put on either today or tommorrow. I got the civic 4 piston caliper kit. I just got my slipstreams with azenis and when i install the brakes i'll let everyone know what i think. Right now my brakes are horrible. Every since i did the swap my brakes can't handle the power. So for now i'm just gonna do the front brakes and later on just put the Gsr brakes in the back. I'll get back to you guys either today or tommorrow with some pics of before and after

i have gsr front and rear disc conversion with the m/c, bb, and prop. valve. i run ebc greenstuff on all fours and i drive agressive ... havent been able to make them fade. one thing u might consider is more rotating mass with more parts, etc. also sometimes i dont notice it and when i try to stop i actually put too much effort and my body lunges forward and kind of kills the ride quality but im not complaining!
