My suspension??? u name one.. i got them.. LOL.
My civic built for autocross not for straight road, its slow motor but i like goin fast in the tight curves,( its not about horsepower, its about your driving skill in autocross). LOL :D
Yea. Position of the brace will make a big difference on the support it adds.
So im correct in the assumption that you have a rear sub frame brace.
My integra I added a H brace in front of the of the fuel tank, But i also have front bracing.
I would probably do the same are slightly in front of the fuel tank.
You can feel a difference w/ bracing the car feels a lot more stable through corners.

I used to run the lower front bar and LOVED it.
I completely knew it was in there especially in situations where I would normally get a little bump steer without the bar.
The additional chassis bracing looks like a WIN!

Front flexes way more than the rear.
It's not much different than using a front lower bar all by itself - it just has additional bracing to the chassis in the area where you get the most flex.
Who makes one of those and why can it not be used by itself? .. and why would rear stiffening be even comparatively beneficial as the front?

The EFs in general dont have rear structural support. So thats why it is a very good idea to run them with at least a tie bar, but preferable a rear sub frame brace. And even though you do get more flex out of the front it is beneficial to strengthen up the rear first because it is so weak.

The rear subframe brace does NOTHING for the EF.
There is absolutely no function for this brace on an EF. It is used on other civics because their rear sway bars that attach to their subframe. The EF sway bars attach to the frame rail and do NOT attach to the rear subframe.
Other Civics use them to help prevent sway bar tear out when they upgrade to a large sway. Original solution to the problem was the Beak's kit.
