Default OBD1 dizzy ???'s

I am in the process of swapping over to obd1 in my crx (91 si) and was wondering which dizzy you guys end up using on your A6's? I know the Y8 dizzys bolt right up but they are obd2 so is there a obd1 dizzy that will bolt up to a D16A6 head without modification?

i have a D15b7 (obd1 engine) that i use in my crx. i bolted up the D16a6 (obd0) distributor and it works fine. so vice versa? My guess is that the 92-95 civic dx obd1 dizzy should bolt up to the A6 head. some one come in with a personal experience and not pull something out of their *** answers with ( im sure......etc)

all d-series dizzy's are interchangeable (88-00) except Z6, D15B and Z1

The y8 will work just fine with the OBD1 ECU.

Ok so a obd2 dizzy works with a obd1 ecu, can anyone confirm this 100%. And not ALL d seriers are interchangable. At least not all will bolt up to a A6 head without moding.

Yes it will work. All 92+ civic distributors are essentially the same except of course for the casing and bolt patterns. You will be fine, pm me if you would like an obd0 to obd2 distributor jumper.
