Default Easy B series tranny swap question.

Okay so I am about to swap my 88 hatch, I am using a B18C transmission (hydraulic) my question is how do I hook up my speed sensor? Do I use a speed sensor from a DA, will a DA one fit into that tranny?? Any advice would be great, thanks.

get a throttle cable from the da teg...and your d series drive gear for the speedo will fit right into the hydro trans. i know, i have a 95 gsr hydro trans in my 91 dx. i pulled the electronic vss out and put the d series one in its place. went right in.

Now do i take the speed ring off the diffy inside the transmission or do i, take that gear off the bottom of the sensor it self? thats just so my speedometer will be correct right, if i don't do it it will be a couple mph off right? or no?

NO NEED to do anything inside the trans. just pull out the elctronic vss and drop in the cable driven unit. no gear swapping. your speedo should be fine. mine is. 30 mph feels like 30mph. even if its 2 mph off big whoop
