So my girlfriend has been wanting to get into an EF.. but she'd rather have an automatic.

I have a JDM OBD0 B16 sitting in my storage.. but i still havent chosen what transmission to grab for it..

my question is... has anyone done an auto-b series swap into a civic? of course it is NOT PRACTICAL.. but im not opposed to driving this thing around and enjoying it.

option 2 is.. hanging onto this b16 and finding my own shell to stick this in haha.

 

b16 deserves a 5 speed Si tranny! No slush boxes!
grab her an auto civic/crx and convert to mpfi. She'll have fun, and you'll have a b16 left over.
that's what I would do.

Agreed, don't really need b16 power for an auto, I guess itd be cool, but its something I would do after I already had a nice swap

 

this is what i was going to do for my girlfriends 89 dx hatch,

MPFI swap
DOHC ZC swap
Intake
legit ef9 cat back.

would have it done and purring right now, but i found massive frame damage on it and scrapped it because i got scared (kicks self in ***).

i even went to the trouble of getting the uber rare ps9 auto mpfi ecu.
