i have a d16a6 with a pm6 5 speed any benefit going obd1 and what would i do it for?"

only reason to go obd1 is if you need tuning capabilities for the future

Relatively stock A6 with basic bolt ons? Totally not worth it as there is no real need to tune it. If you go forced induction or do some internal work like higher compression or head work then you ought to be tuning - then OBD1 would be good stuff..

You can chip and tune OBD0 90-91 PM6's.

It's a cheap alternative if you decide to do it yourself. No tuner where I am will even touch turboedit anymore.

HOly cow that takes me back! Street tuning for that ghettofabulous Turboed-D. Good times!

UNless you plan on running any sort of VTEC anything i would stick to your current OBD system. Me, i went with a Z6 head on my EF sedan so i chose to run an OBD1 ECU. SO really, it boils down to what your future plans are. If you are likely to do any modifying then your gonna need the ability to tune.
