Help Picking New Suspension
Going on a 92 Si. I've replaced/upgraded every other suspension part aside from these, and since my rear passenger side strut is all but completely broke and 2 other ones are leaking, I figure it's time to replace these.
Right now, I still have the original struts (at around 190k) and rusting Skunk 2 lowering springs.
What I'm thinking about right now is just getting new skunk springs. I want the same drop, but I'm not sure how to measure it, so my first question is that. How do I measure the current drop?
As far as struts go, I was looking at Koni yellows for the front and oranges for the rear. I want something fairly soft on the road, but easy to adjust for drag strips. I don't plan on doing any auto-x or anything like that, just drag.
So would Skunk springs work fine with those struts? Also, is that setup good for what I want? If I remember correctly, you want stiff front struts to reduce wheel hop. (I think?) The yellows seem pretty easy and quick to adjust, so that's why I'm thinking that would be good... What do you guys think?

How do you measure your current drop though? And mixing struts is ok then? This is my first shot at buffing up a suspension system, so I'm wanting to make sure I have every little detail right, especially if I'm gonna drop $650 or so on this stuff, lol.
I would suggest going yellows all the way around so as to not mis-match your front an rear valving since its a street car. You will want something with really good valving if your going to go with Skunk springs. They are stiff but with Koni yellows on a moderate to low rebound setting they are more than tolerable for the street.
