Icon6 DPFI to MPFI swap question..?? please

I have a 90 ED6 (Canadian) Dx. Im doin my swap rite now and i was wondering about the map sensor vacuum assembly mounted on the firewall above the AC lines and fuel filter.. can it just be eliminated completely..?
And also can the swap be ran without a resistor box..? im using and OBDI injectors...??
Thnx....

if you get rid of it you'll have to re-route your vacuum lines and mount the map sensor somewhere else since you can't exactly get rid of it lol. you can delete the res. box if you use obd1 injectors.

map sensor is the connector on top with 3 wires.

i believe you can get rid of most of the other stuff there but i'm not sure. i haven't done it myself and its been awhile since i've seen a thread about it.

you'll need the cluster itself, cluster plugs with plenty of wire, and an electronic vss. and of course pinouts so you know which wire goes where. check this thread out, you'll find everything you need if you ever want to do a cluster swap. i have a post like 20 replies down that has the pinouts and info for wiring the vss.
