I am putting together a multi forum GTG/Cruise for the winter. No one ever seams to do anything during winter. I have done much research for a good date and it looks like Feb,20th will be the best day. Its supposed to be cold, but at least sunny. Now this will be posted on 8thgen civic, Vw vortex, NICO Club, Honda Tech and 300zxclub. If there are forums you also belong to that are not on the list please invite them as well, all are welcome! But please follow some simple rules. No illegal road racing or anything stupid use your brain and drive sensibly. Show respect for each other. We are all here for the same thing, whether you own a Honda or a Neon its all about the experience and fellowship. Who knows you might learn something you never knew. Now the more well behaved we are the less the police will mess with us. Hopefully this will be a huge GTG/cruise and the less attention we draw the better, because I would like to make this a yearly event.
We will be starting in Bear Delaware at the Fox Run Shopping center, then weather permitting we will then cruise about and hour or so down Delaware route 9 and end at the Sonic in Dover. The reason we are doing it this way is so, We can include people from down sate and the eastern shore, also Philly and Jersey If they are willing to make the drive. Drive anything you want be it your beater, your trailer queen or you project car. Its all about having fun and meeting new people. If you have any specific questions feel free to email me paulcumella@yahoo.com. I will be checking/updating as time goes on and we get closer to the date. If you could start a list of attendees so I can plan a little better.
So I hope that the weather is going to be good lol maybe my prediction/the farmers almanac is wrong. But as far as I know We are still on and I am looking foreword to this event. Please post this everywhere you visit. I want everyone to be there and so far it looks like VW Vortex is the only forum showing any interest.

Well I'm a guy who gets along with a car guy no matter what he drives and I've found that the vw guys are fairly nice to talk to and have some low low cars

Yeah, I hate VTECH products, cheaply made, most likely from Taiwan. I once owned a VTECH phone and a VTECH toy for my kids and the quality on both was marginal at best.

 

Honda hater? I don't think so. Not a single manufacturer can match Honda engines without adding forced induction or added displacement.

But VTECH is still crap, they cant make good quality products.

Where on Hondas do you see them announcing the size of their engines? 2.0...1.8t...2.0t..2.8t? I don't mind VWs or Audis and am very good friends with many dub guys...I'm just saying.

 

 

 

Oh yes...the fact that a gti needs a turbo to make a blistering 14.7 sec 1/4 mile pass is something to let the whole world know.

all the vw owners in my area are cocky about their gti's, golf's, and rabbits.
thats why i just dont bother with making peace with them anymore. i just see them and keep on going. and i hate the tension between new school and old school hondas. its just plain stupid. i dont get what they all hate about the rsx's and new si's. its a damn honda, and who gives 2 ***** if my car has 6 airbags compared to your 2. who f*cking cares!!

 

It's rough out west. It's pretty civil over here. Pretty much everyone respects one another. Dub & Honda guys get along. There's no new vs. old school. There's the occasional idiot but the local meet I organize during the summer has a good mix of H & VW badges and we all enjoy ourselves. Some of the domestic/truck guys are idiots and hassle the import crowd in general but I'm friends with a lot of them so it's mostly just joking.
