B17a1 GSR Engine
Name: blue
Location: Valdese, NC
Contact: PM or Txt (828) 390-8960
Price: Really WTT but $800 (FIRM)
I'm looking to trade for LEGIT a b18c block, but throw me offers. The piston rings on this block was change and the head was cleaned and new valves stems seals/resurface was done (was smoking during vtec that's why). Not sure of miles but the motor was barely ran.
History:
Okay after the pistons rings and all that was put in the motor ran good, but no power/wasn't pulling hard. My brother is no mechanic so he did not want to mess with the problem no more since he just got through all that. I offer to pull out the swap and put in my extra LS built swap for the B17 (The sensor on the b17 IM went to the LS swap). So we swapped out the B17 engine.
Problem Found:
A short in one of the injector wire harness. It was just barely hanging on by a small wire.
During the swapped while taking off the header...I found out that one of the exhuast port was HELLA CLEAN (Head was just cleaned remember). I then thought that one of the injector wasn't working properly or die, but we continued on with the LS swap. We then swap out the b17 injector for some good used ones after the swap and still did the same thing. No power with the LS engine= Same prob on the B17 (The LS engine is in Perfect condition cuz it's mine).
Short in wire was fixed and walla.....Ran perfect.....Then a month later some *** hoe came and jack my bro's clean *** hell crx
. Body was never found and this is why I dont have the b17 ecu & other little parts for this swap cuz my brother left it in the crx. Lazy ***.....
****I can take pic of the clean exhaust port compare the the 3 blk port to prove that i was not lie'n about the injector not wrking/If requested*****

Block was cleaned then painted by me

(FIRST COME FIRST SERVE)........ I forgot: New Head gasket and Exhuast gasket installed during process
. Deal still up
Here's what I'm talken bout...One exhaust port still clean (meaning there was no fuel burning in this cylinder because no fuel was present) Ya got the point.

there is no such thing as a p61 head. That is the correct head for that motor.
and if anyone needs a p61 ecu for this motor i have one for $150. good luck with the sale. but i think the b17>b18c imo
